Vokens

Vote, Control & Earn
What is a Voken?
A Voken is a BEP-20 token that integrates an earning & governance ecosystem where holders will be able to Earn, Vote and Manage a decentralized crypto fund. To ensure its future value, Voken features a set of built-in deflationary, redistribution and anti-whale mechanisms.
Are Vokens and a Voken the same?
Vokens is the plural of a Voken token. (1 Voken, 2 Vokens, 5 Vokens)
How and Where do I buy Vokens?
You have 2 ways of acquiring a Vokens. The first option is to buy them directly from the website. By doing so, the BNB will be used to increase vFund's total value and provide extra liquidity in the LP. You also won't pay any transaction fees. The second option is to buy them from PancakeSwap.
Why and until when can I buy Vokens from the website.
vFund needs to raise the initial capital for the fund and for it's Voken/BNB liquidity pool. This occurs when Vokens are sold to investors in exchange for BNB. You'll be able to buy vokens until the funding round runs out of Vokens. When that happens, the only way you'll be able to buy more Vokens is on PancakeSwap itself. vFund intends to conduct multiple funding rounds, raising the Voken price each time. More details will be announced on the website, Discord and Twitter.
Is the Voken supply fixed?
Yes, the total Voken supply is fixed at 20 million Vokens. Note that the circulating supply of Vokens is decreasing over time due to its multiple deflationary mechanism.
What is the initial Voken supply distribution?
The 20M Vokens are distributed as follows: 34% Series Funding Reserve, 22% Community, 20% Voken/BNB LP, 14% Team & Advisors, 8% Marketing, 2% Bounty.
What can I do with my Vokens?
First and foremost, the holder will be able to vote and thus be eligible to receive dividends in the form of BNB. They’ll also start earning more Vokens through the reflections.”.
How is the transaction fee split?
The transaction fee is distributed as follows: 5% goes to the fund, 4% is burned (Locked LP), 4% is divided among all existing holders in form of Reflections, and 2% goes to Marketing and R&D.
What happens to all existing Voken holders when someone sells?
As a Voken holder, you get 3 benefits: (1) You will receive a part of the sellers Vokens (redistribution mechanism from the transaction fee). (2) You will indirectly get more BNB per Voken (part of the transaction fees go to the fund, increasing it's total value and hence its potential profit). (3) When someone sells, 4% of the Vokens are burned, reducing the overall supply and increasing the value of each Voken.
How does Voken avoid inflation?
Voken has the following build-in deflationary mechanisms: (1) 4% burn on each transaction (locked LP), (2) 4% reflections: Voken distribution to every Voken holder on each transaction, (3) 5% of the fund profit will buy back Vokens and send them to a burn wallet.
Why is Voken listed on PancakeSwap, but not on other exchanges like Uniswap or Binance?
Voken is a BEP-20 token built on the Binance Smart Chain, therefore we currently do not support Uniswap which is built for the Ethereum blockchain. vFund does have plans on getting Voken approved in centralized exchanges. As mentioned in our roadmap, Voken will be supported on other blockchains.
What type of token is Voken?
Voken is an BEP-20 Token built on top of the Binance Smart Chain.
Do I pay fees when I buy Vokens directly from the website?
No, you do not. vFund's wallet is exempted from transaction fees.
Is there a vesting period for the Vokens I bought from vFund?
No, there is no vesting period. You can trade them right after you buy them.

Fund

Decentralised, Community owned fund managed by Voting
Where does the name vFund come from?
The name comes from merging 'vote/voting' with 'fund'.
What are 'fund profits'?
At the end of the week, the fund closes all positions. When compared to the previous week, the total fund value must be increased or decreased. The fund is considered profitable if it ends the week with a greater total value. 50% of the profits are redistributed as dividends among all existing holders.”
What are 'dividends'?
A dividend in the vFund context is the payout of a portion of a fund's profits to the voken holder.
In what currency do I receive my dividends?
The dividends are paid out once a week in BNB. In a future update, vFund will allow holders to choose which currency their dividends should be paid in.
When are the fund profits distributed?
Every Sunday after UTC 22h15. After that time, all dividends will be claimable for all Voken holders.
What happens to the Voken holder if the fund loses money?
The Voken holder won't receive any dividends, as no gains were realized.
When does the fund buy and sell all voted assets?
The fund buys and sells all assets every Sunday at UTC 22h00
What is the main currency of the fund?
vFund uses USDT as main currency. USDT is a collateralized stablecoin where 1 USDT ~ 1$.
What exchange does vFund use and why?
vFund uses Kucoin exchange as it offers great liquidity, low trading fees (compared to a DEX like PancakeSwap) and is aiming to become a fully decentralised exchange.
Is there human interaction during vote counting, trading, dividend transfer and the distribution process?
There is NO human interaction. Everything is automated by smart contracts on the blockchain and API calls with back-end scripts.
How does the weekly profit get distributed?
A smart contract receives 50% of the gains (BNB). The contract then divides the profit among the holders based on the number of Vokens each wallet had at the time of voting (snapshot).
Why is 'only' 50% of the profits redistributed?
vFund is here for the long term, compounding 45% of the realized profit will rapidly help grow the fund and effectively hedge against losses. 5% of Voken buy-backs is to make sure Vokens stays deflationary.
What does 'compounding' mean?
In simple terms, Compounding means reinvesting gains to earn more.

Your opinion matters
When is voting?
Voting opens every Friday at: GMT/UTC: 12h00 (noon) and closes every Sunday at: GMT/UTC: 22h00.
Where do I vote?
Go to our 'Vote' tab in the website menu.
What do I need to vote?
To vote, you'll need a MetaMask wallet with some Vokens.
How do I vote?
Connect your MetaMask wallet and go to the 'Vote' tab in the website menu. Choose the crypto of your choice and choose whether you want to long or short the asset. After confirming your crypto and side, you can submit your vote. i.e. ETH LONG.

What is social voting?
This is an upcoming feature. It will allow all existing holders to delegate their votes to another Voken holder who has more experience in the crypto market. A whole ranking system will be developed to rank voters that have a high percentage of casted votes that turns out to be correct at the end of each week.
What does choosing a 'side' mean? (long/short)
You have 2 ways of making money while trading an asset: Make money when the asset goes up in price (LONG) or make money when the asset goes down in price (SHORT). Feel free to google how shorting works, as it could be a counter intuitive concept.
Are fractions of votes allowed?
No, You can only vote with whole numbers (1,2,3,...).

Yes they are. This is to avoid any rug pulls. You can check the locked liquidity pool contract here: TBD
Does Voken has an anti-whale mechanism?
Yes, every transaction is limited to 1% of the total supply and every wallet cannot hold more than 4% of the total supply.
Why do some wallets have >4% of the total Voken supply?
The only wallets holding >4% of the total supply are the Seed Funding wallet, the Liquidity Pool, the Burn wallet and Marketing wallet.
What are bounties?
A bounty is a reward that community members can receive for performing certain tasks assigned by the project team.
What is a rug pull?
A 'rug pull' is a theft in which the owners of a cryptocurrency project abandon it after stealing investor money
Can a rug pull happen with Vokens?
No, rug pulls happen when the liquidity tokens aren't locked. When the tokens aren't locked, the owners of the liquidity tokens can redeem the tokens and remove all the liquidity. vFund made sure that the VOKEN-BNB liquidity tokens are locked until 2025 and some of them are safely stored in a MultiSig wallet (to add liquidity on other blockchains, see roadmap). Every transaction in the MultiSig wallet needs to be approved by the majority of the Voken holders.
Why is voting with Vokens fair and secure?
Voting happens with an encrypted signature to avoid any fees to the Voken holder. This is to optimise user experience and have no fee-barrier to vote. All signatures are then pushed in 1 transaction to the blockchain, verified and stored.
Can the team dump all of their Vokens?
No, the Vokens in the team wallets are locked and progressively released over a period of 3 years.
